The Scottish Cup final between Celtic and Rangers on May 25th will indeed kick off at 15:00 BST, as confirmed by the Scottish FA. This means it will overlap with the FA Cup final between Manchester City and Manchester United, which is also being broadcast live by the BBC.

It’s notable that last season, the Scottish Cup final was moved to a 17:30 start to avoid clashing with another major final. However, this year, the decision was made to keep the original timing.

Celtic, as the cup holders, will defend their title after beating Inverness Caley Thistle in 2023. Rangers, on the other hand, won this season’s League Cup.

The upcoming final marks the first time in nearly two decades that Celtic and Rangers will face each other in the Scottish Cup final, with the last meeting being in 2002.

Meanwhile, the FA Cup final features Manchester City and Manchester United for the second consecutive year, with City having won 2-1 in the previous encounter.
