Kanye West Verse On New Childish Gambino Track Subject To Speculation Of Dreaded AI

Childish Gambino has been building significant anticipation for his upcoming album, “Atavista.” The announcement of the reboot of his previous album, “3.15.20,” in mid-March has heightened excitement among fans. Gambino, a multi-talented artist from Georgia, has been teasing the album extensively, including through two GILGA Radio livestreams. The most recent stream, held on April 21, featured a three-minute track that stunned fans with vocals from Kanye West.
Kanye’s appearance on the track caused a buzz among fans, particularly due to his recent online activity, such as his diss track aimed at Drake on a remix of “Like That.” Some fans have been speculating whether the Kanye verse on the Gambino track is real or generated by AI, similar to rumors circulating about other AI-generated content. This speculation adds to the excitement and intrigue surrounding the album’s release.
The reason for the second-guessing comes from a post on X from the account called Kurrco. The GILGA Radio show has been utilizing the controversial technology through ads and narration. Furthermore, Gambino and GILGA have been farming talent from the AI space for this rollout. Fans in the comments section are noticeably concerned and fed up with the constant talk around AI.
Fans are expressing their concerns about the use of AI in Childish Gambino’s promotion and rollout of the album. The account called Kurrco’s post has sparked second-guessing among fans, particularly because the GILGA Radio show has been using this controversial technology for ads and narration. Additionally, Gambino and GILGA have been sourcing talent from the AI space for this project.
The constant discussion around AI and its involvement in the album’s creation and promotion has left fans feeling frustrated and uncertain. They’re worried that the authenticity of the music and its artists might be compromised by the use of AI technology.
“Could be, but it’s definitely new. I just hate that everything is questioned for ai nowadays. AI removes all feeling from music,” one Ye fan account says. One goes as far as to say the music industry is essentially cooked. “Ai ruining everything we’re f***ed.” Another fan is even theorizing that its a scrapped Ye verse. “Either it’s a old real verse, or it’s a new ai verse, bc ye doesn’t have the “lisp” from the grills.”
