Hollywood actress, Dalyce Curry’s body has been found at her Los Angeles home amid the ongoing wildfires

Dalyce Curry who is known for her roles in Blues Brothers and Lady Sings the Blues, tragically died at 95.

Her body was found burnt days after the fire razed her Altadena property.

According to TMZ, the authorities on Sunday announced that “her remains were indeed found at the property. #RIPMOMMADEE.”

Confirming the news on her Facebook page, her granddaughter, Dalyce Kelley, said “We had a great run. She impacted my life in so many ways. This loss is devastating.”

The family of the deceased Nollywood actor Alexx Ekubo has announced funeral arrangements, with burial rites scheduled to be completed on June 18, 2026.

Actor Alexx died on May 11 as a result of kidney cancer.

His obituary was announced by the family on his Instagram’s page.

The funeral programme will begin with a service of songs on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at The Monarch Event Centre, Lekki, Lagos, scheduled to hold between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., with guests expected to wear white.

A wake-keep will follow on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at the family residence on 7 Ekubo-Okwaraeke Avenue, Aziukwukwa, Ujari Village, Arochukwu, Abia State, while the funeral service and interment are slated for Thursday, June 18, 2026 at Mary Slessor School in Arochukwu, and the burial will take place at the family residence in Ujari Village.

A reception is also scheduled immediately after the interment at Mary Slessor School, Amanagwu Village, Arochukwu, with attendees expected to wear white dress.

Nigerian Afro-house star Niniola Apata has announced the heartbreaking death of her husband, Michael Ndika, after 13 years of marriage.

The Grammy-nominated artist shared the sad news in a series of emotional Instagram Stories posted in the early hours of Wednesday, May 20, 2026.

“God took him,” Niniola wrote in one post. “My husband died,” she added in another, while expressing deep grief in a third: “God took him. 13 years. 13 f***ing years.”

Michael Ndika, also known as Big Mike or X.O, served as Niniola’s manager and was the Chief Executive Officer of NaijaReview, a multimedia platform promoting Afro-house and contemporary African music. The couple had kept their marriage largely private, surprising many fans who were unaware of the union.

No details have been released about the cause of Ndika’s death. Tributes and messages of condolence have poured in from fans, fellow artists, and the music community, including her sister, singer Teni.
