‘My behaviour inexcusable’ – Diddy apologises for assaulting ex-girlfriend in viral video

American rapper and music executive Sean Combs, also known as Diddy, has issued a public apology following the release of video footage showing him assaulting his former signee and estranged girlfriend, Cassie, in a Los Angeles hotel hallway in 2016. The footage, reported by CNN, depicts Diddy repeatedly kicking and throwing objects at Cassie.

In a video message shared on his social media page, Diddy admitted that his behavior in the footage was “inexcusable” and took full responsibility for his actions, expressing deep remorse. He stated, “My behavior on that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video. I’m so sorry.”

Despite the public outcry following the video’s release, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced it would not prosecute Diddy for the assault. The office cited the statute of limitations, indicating that the incident occurred too long ago to be legally pursued.

Nigerian afrobeats singer, Adekunle Gold, shone brightly at Louis Vuitton’s Men’s Spring-Summer Show during Fashion Week Day 1 in Paris, France, on Tuesday.

His compatriots Wizkid, Burna Boy, Rema and Tems were among the megastars in attendance at the star-studded event, but it was Gold who stole the show with his hit collaborative song with the curator of the event, Pharrell Williams, ‘Falling Up’ closing Day 1 of the Paris Fashion Week.
